Bacopa plants grow best in warm conditions with full sun to partial shade. They prefer moist, well-draining soil that stays evenly hydrated without becoming waterlogged. Providing around 4–6 hours of sunlight daily can encourage healthy foliage and abundant flowering. In very hot climates, some afternoon shade can protect the plant from excessive heat. Bacopa also appreciates good air circulation and moderate humidity. Regular watering is important, particularly during dry periods, because prolonged soil dryness can cause wilting and reduced flowering.
