Trials-Style Obstacles: Rules & Step-by-Step Instructions
Objective:
The goal of this event is to navigate through a series of sections, including enduro-style and trials obstacles, while maintaining control, speed, and technique. Riders must complete the course in the shortest time possible while adhering to safety rules and completing challenges in a controlled manner.
General Rules:
1.Safety Gear:
•Full protective gear is mandatory, including a helmet, gloves and boots.
Recommended gear, knee and elbow guards, and body armor.
•No rider will be allowed to participate without proper safety equipment.
2.Course Structure:
•The event consists of multiple timed sections and you will have 5 attempts at each section
3.Starting:
•Riders will start one at a time, students training will start at station 1 and work through the obstacles in order.
riders that chose not to train can chose any obstacle to start at and work through the different sections in order.
4.Timekeeping:
•Each rider will be separated by 30seconds for each section, if the rider behind you catches you, you are out of time and should pull out of their way and retry .
The goal is to practice between ribbons as if you were racing and getting a feel for the terrain. We will have obstacles from beginner to pro to challenge all skill levels
*this is not a race and there is no “winner”
the first one to complete every section gets bragging rights.
The first obstacle will be a “simple” sand turn to ledge for beginners, the final obstacle is going to be tough and challenge the world’s best, I’m hoping to get some Pros come out and practice while amateurs train and make this event friendly to all skill levels wanting to ride hard enduro on the red rocks
Additional Tips for Success:
•Mental Preparation: Sprint enduro with trials-style obstacles requires mental focus and resilience. Stay calm under pressure and don’t rush through obstacles.
Good luck, and ride safely!
